The Photo Sessions
Hello loves!
I am overdue for a new blog post! Things have been extremely hectic with work, school and the upcoming launch of my shop! More news on that in another post, but for now I wanted to share with you all a few of the lovely shots my beautifully talented friend took in the past couple of weeks! Hope you enjoy. :)

Puerto Rico Trip Part 2
Hello Hello Hello Loves!
Yes I am back with Part 2 of the trip, before I forget what I even did out there! Pinones, one of our stops in PR, was basically like a market you'd regularly stop at anywhere in the countries over in the Middle East. Of course, to me it was refreshing considering I had never been back home! It was my first time visiting a market like this, and yes, I was beyond excited the entire time!
And of course we had to make a trip (or two) to the beautiful beaches all over the island! How can you go to an island and not spend a few days on the beaches? I definitely enjoyed the refreshing, yet oh so salty, water!

Oh resorts, resorts galore! More resort pictures. :)
Trees in the mall? Oh ya, totally common.
And again, like in the previous post, we made a stop at El Morro, Old San Juan. My favorite place throughtout the entire trip there. These are the last shots to wrap it up. I hope you all enjoyed the pictures as much as I have enjoyed this trip.
Take care, loves!

Puerto Rico Trip Part 1
Hello loves,
Oh my oh my, am I overdue for a new blog post! It has been quite the hectic month. Ever since Ramadan came to an end, things at work kicked in rapidly. Most of my time went into preparing for this 8 day trip over to Puerto Rico. What an astounding experience it was. I felt as if I was back home, overseas, in the Middle East. 4 out of those 8 days were spent working, the main reason why we went out to Puerto Rico, the other 4 days was vacation fun! During this vacationing time, we checked into a resort right on the beach! What a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning. Most of the time I just wanted to sit on the sand, or in the hammocks and rest peacefully!

However, the fun did not stop at the resort! By far my most favorite and memorable part of the trip was our stop at El Morro, Old San Juan. If you ever decide to vacation out in Puerto Rico, you must, I repeat MUST, put El Morro on your list of activities to do, all the way on top of that list! El Morro San Juan was an old fort built back in the 1500's to protect the Puerto Ricans from invaders attempting to take over the Island. I learned a lot in the couple of hours we spent out there. I am huge on sight seeing and historical spots, so this was absolutely baffling to me and I enjoyed every minute of it, including the historical facts that was told to us by a great friend.
I would go on and on about the rest of our amazing trip, but I will leave the rest for Part 2!
Tata for now, loves!

Chicago City Life!
Bonjour loves,
Today was quite the adventurous day! Had iftar out with my lovely friends, downtown of Chicago (a place where I always love to be). I'm often a quiet, to myself type of girl, but I would love to live up north in the city, specifically downtown. It's too quiet and dead by the suburbs. I love the action and life the city holds. Inshallah one day, but for now here are some pictures I took enjoying my day out and taking much advantage of this nice weather while it lasts!

And so the blogging begins!
Bonjour loves,
I am excited to announce the launching of this blog, only because there will be much to look forward to! A lot of these posts will consist of OOTD's , fashion tips (hijabis and non-hijabis), daily activities, photo shoots , vacation spots, plus more. Down the line, very soon, I will be launching my hijabi line. This has been a project I have been working on for quite some time now, learning new things and experimenting a lot. More details on that once the launch date is near.
On another note, final exams are heeeere (yikes) and its time to study study study! So I have to put my projects to the side and focus on school till this stressful week is overrr! To top that off, it is quite a gloomy day, putting much of us in a melancholy mood. I refuse to be a victim of that, however. So I woke up extra early to take my time getting dressed for school today. With that spare time I played around with turbans, thus creating the style in the images below. With that said, I'll leave you all to some OOTD images as I am off to run errands!
P.S. I will be getting a more professional camera, or investing in a photographer, lol. So bare with me on these phone pics for now!
